customers by providing appropriate and accurate maintenance of
GreenStar's point of sale database, product data analysis services,
pricing and signage accuracy, and training of staff who interact

Supervised by IT DirectorResponsibilities:POINT OF SALE &
INVOICES
- Support POS and retail staff in item maintenance and
signage
- Support the coordination & delivery of in person training of
POS system (for cashiering) for new and current GreenStar
employees
- Enter all new products and attribute information into the POS
system in a timely manner
- Generate store standard shelf tags for new products, price
changes, and sale prices meeting all timelines given.
- Periodic price scanning checks on the sales floor and invoice
checking.
- Assist with audits of POS files for accuracy when
assigned.
- Assist with cost and margin control projects.
- Communicate new products, pricing entries, and price updates
from vendors.
- Assist with competitive price surveys.
- Integrate POS with scanning/ordering devices as needed for
efficient and accurate date management.
- Participate in department inventory counts when assigned.
- Manage assignments of PLUs in POS and coordinate scale pricing
accuracy per store standards and weights and measures
requirements.
- Ensure weekly sales reports are generated and sent to required
vendors (SPINS/SATORI)
- Generate all needed reporting from the POS as requested
- Work cooperatively with Department Managers and Finance
Department to ensure accuracy with invoice coding.CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Familiarity with co-op policies and products, take initiative
to help internal and external customers with questions.
- Exceed internal and external customer expectations for service
and provide a hospitable environment in daily interactions.
- Respond to staff and customer suggestions, comments and
complaints or refer to appropriate management.
- Work to foster a cooperative team.STOREWIDE & OTHER DUTIES
- Attend Human Resources training, all-staff meetings, department
meetings, and Huddles to stay informed.
- Read GreenStar publications to stay informed.
- Respect and comply with storewide personnel policies.
- Describe membership benefits, and how membership investment is
made.
- Adhere to scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Well-organized, accurate, pays attention to detail.
- Strives for POS systems efficiency and productivity.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands.
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Good communication skills.
- Follows instructions; responds to management direction.
- Experience in database maintenance and price file
imports/exports.
- Willingness and ability to learn to meet the changing
requirements of the job.
- Proficient in computer data software
Compensation details: 18.2-19.2 Hourly Wage
