Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Technician in Syracuse, NY.

As a Production Technician, you will:
Perform duties in a sterile, pharmaceutical lab environment
Operate, set up, clean, and check equipment, ensuring proper configurations and addressing any issues immediately.
Complete and review production documentation accurately and in real-time.
Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and glassware as per established methods and schedules.
Handle raw materials and components according to procedures, including procurement, weighing, verification, dispensing, and formulation.
Manage the receipt, shipping, and stocking of plant uniforms, scrub uniforms, and cleanroom garments.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and company policies.


This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; one or more years previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or doing cleanroom filling
Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions.
Knowledge and skill in operating various specialized equipment, such as packaging, wash, and sanitizing equipment
Knowledge of and compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations, preferred but not required
Flexible with work hours and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable standing, walking, and moving between departments for extended periods.
Capable of climbing, stooping, kneeling, and performing routine tasks.
Good hearing and vision to communicate and read reports effectively.


Schedule: 2nd Shift - Sunday - Wednesday - 1:00pm-11:30pm


Pay rate: $19.00 - $20.90 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
