Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Sanitation Worker.

Position type: Full-time (Contract to Hire)
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Syracuse, NY

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be:Sweep and mops floors, cleans windows; cleans restrooms and fixtures; cleans and maintains lunch and break rooms.
Strips and waxes tiled floors as required, vacuums, buffs and waxes floors.
Replace light bulbs as needed.
Clean offices, including dusting desks and other areas.
Disposes of trash and operate trash compactor; disposes of cardboard and operate cardboard bailer.
Assists in moving furniture as required or requested.
Perform external facility work as required or requested, to include lawn work and snow removal.
Ensures sidewalks are kept clear and snow melts is placed along the walkways to keep it safe for anyone who enters or leaves the building.
Promotes a safe and harmonious work environment.
Maintains compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.


The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent and previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or doing sanitation/custodial work.
Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.
