About this role

Supervises entry or intermediate level employees or team leaders of support employees in Engineering Services and Support. Plans and establishes goals and objectives for the team. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks. Plans experiments and gathers and compiles technical data in support of engineering disciplines. Responsible for making modifications to systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of the work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee changes and upgrades to LabVIEW VI and DAQ hardware
  
• Maintain the data system calibrations
  
• Assist with troubleshooting instrumentation, lab support equipment, and test software
  
• Manage the lab certifications (UL, ETL, ANAB, AHRI, etc...)
  
• Upgrade the Test Execution and Schedule Tracking System web application
  
• Develop and deploy systems to manage the shipping / receiving / inventory management for the labs
  
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor's degree
    
  • 3+ years of experience with Data Acquisition Systems
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • Experienced with HVAC product certification standards
      
    • Experience with LabVIEW and database development
      
    • Electrical troubleshooting experience, as it pertains to an communicating controls
      
    • Ability to communicate effectively, follow oral and written instructions.
      
    • Ability to lead people to a common goal, give direction, and receive direction from others
      
    • Proven ability to work in a team environment giving and receiving feedback
      
    • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
      
    • Proven safety record.
      
    • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and NFPA 70 / National Electric Code
      
    • Experience with basic hand and power tools, and other electrical equipment.
      
    • Ability to multitask and shift priorities with very short notice.
      
    • Budget management experience
      
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
      
    • Proven leader/manager of teams of 3+ members preferred.
      
    • Refrigerant recovery certification EPA608 Universal preferred

      Pay Range:
      $74,181 - $130,206 Annually
