The Business Office Coordinator/Train will not only be a front
facing team member but will also provide operational and system
training to Business Office representatives team members.
Business Office Coordinator/Trainer Responsibilities:

- Answer and screen telephone calls in a courteous manner, and
triage messages for Physicians, APP's and other personnel in the
EMR. - - - -
- Schedule patient appointments according to established policies
and procedures. - - - -
- Obtain accurate information from patients and ensure all
registration information is complete. - - - -
- Collect and reconcile patient payments on a daily basis. - - -

- Key point person for questions, concerns in the day-to-day
operations at the front desk and in the call center and assists
with daily coordination of staffing throughout the department. - -

- Train front-end personnel on operational procedures as well as
use of EMR. - - - -
- Assist the Business Office Manager in the development and
implementation of initial and ongoing training. - - - -
- Reconcile the front-end financials on a daily basis. - - -

- Maintain organization and efficiency of the Business Office. -

- Key point person for taking staff call-ins during regular

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- - - -
- Minimum of two years previous experience working in customer
facing enviroment, preferably in healthcare. - - - -
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a
fast paced environment. - - - -
- Proven ability to clearly communicate and provide instruction
on operating procedures. - - - -
- Proficient use of Medent EMR preferred.
