• Employment Type: TravelQualifications:Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalentNew York State (NYS) license/registrationMinimum of one year of experience in CT/MRI as a radiologic technologistSuccessful completion of pre-employment health clearanceDuties:The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists. The technologist will greet and assist patients, explain the procedure they are about to undergo, and ensure proper patient positioning. Additionally, the technologist will set the appropriate exposure factors to obtain high-quality radiographs.The role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols, ensuring that patients are not subjected to unnecessary radiation exposure. The technologist must demonstrate proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring that it functions efficiently and effectively. In the event of equipment malfunctions, the technologist will promptly report issues to their immediate supervisor.Responsibilities also include processing films, entering patient information into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing purposes, and adhering to departmental procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.This position primarily involves providing radiologic examinations based on the needs of the referring physician and radiologist.Infojini Healthcare I Job ID #HC04555.
