Nursing Leadership OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services with management responsibilities and ensure the quality of care is maintained
• Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds to monitor resident health
• Ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff and facilitate compliance with regulations
• Meet the medical needs of residents and coordinate care services
• Be available 24 hours for on-call duty
• Develop and implement nursing services plans to meet resident needs
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
• Accurately document medical records and ensure timely completion
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
• Oversee daily staffing processes and ensure infection control measures are in placeRequirements
  • Current State RN license is required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings
  • 2 years of management experience is preferred
  • 1 year of staff education experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Demonstrate basic leadership skills and supervision
  • Flexible hours are required
