The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care, with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.Required:--- Current RN license in New York State.--- AWHONN-Fetal Monitoring certification.--- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.--- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required.--- Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum care preferred.Key Responsibilities:--- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.--- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using AWHONN standards for fetal monitoring.--- Assist with antepartum care, ensuring patients receive appropriate assessments and interventions.--- Offer support and education to new parents regarding postpartum care and newborn care.--- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.--- Respond to emergencies with quick, effective interventions.--- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.--- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.vTech Healthcare Job ID #29926.
