Skilled Nursing Facility CNA Team Member

Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Corning, NY. The ideal candidate will have a pleasant demeanor and excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

--- Observing residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
--- Providing personal care to residents, including bed baths, shaving, and other hygiene tasks
--- Setting up meal trays and documenting food and fluid intake
--- Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
--- Maintaining a clean and tidy residents' space
--- Transporting residents within the facility
--- Preventing bedsores by turning bedridden residents
--- Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data

Requirements

--- Must be able to work as a team member
--- Successful completion of a CNA program
--- Current NY State Certification
--- In good standing with State Registry
