Nursing Department Management Position at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab CenterWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Department.

• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of all long-term and sub-acute nursing care rendered within the facility.
• Orient, instruct, educate, and train nursing staff as needed.
• Supervise and evaluate the work performance of nursing personnel.
• Coordinate the Infection Control Program for the facility.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Requirements for this position include:
  • Wound Care Certification and SigmaCare experience a plus.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Must have a current registration in New York State as a RN in good standing.
  • Ability to work cohesively with residents, families, and staff from various departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
