Professional Care Medical Practices PC ("Professional Care") is a private, physician founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice.
Professional Care provides comprehensive medical & mental health care services in the state of New York.Correctional health care is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today's medical professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned medical skills and knowledge on a daily basis. It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and truly appreciative patient population.
We are currently looking for a Full-Time, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and provide on-site medical care at the at multiple county correction facilities in New York State.
This is a 40 hour/week position. Weekly hours are scheduled during normal business hours (i.e., 8:00am - 4:30pm) Monday - Friday.
Facilities we are looking at for coverage would be Livingston County Jail in Geneseo, NY two days per week and Monroe County Jail in Rochester, NY three days per week.

• Salaries are negotiable and commensurate based on experience. rate range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

NYSSL accrues at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours of straight time worked, for a maximum annual accrual of fifty-six (56) hours.
