Paid Time OffJOB DESCRIPTION:Dietitians and nutritionists perform
nutritional assessments and comprehensive nutrition counseling on
all admitted patients. Dietitians and nutritionists are experts in
using food and nutrition to promote health and manage
disease.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform comprehensive nutritional
screening and assessment upon admissionEvaluate and monitor
nutrition-related changes for the continuum of careParticipate in
Interdisciplinary rounds to coordinate patient's needs and
careProvide recommendations for artificial nutrition support as
neededKeeping informed about the latest discoveries in
nutritionProvide in-services on nutrition-related topics for
facility staff as neededREQUIREMENTS:Registered
Dietitian-Nutritionist credential is mandatory. New graduates are
welcome to apply.Must be registered with New York State to obtain
the CDN credential.Bachelor's degree in nutrition, health, or a
related field.Exceptional communication, problem-solving, public
speaking, and listening skills.Willingness to continue training and
research to keep current on the latest discoveries and developments
in the field.Strong computer and data entry skills.ABOUT US:Absolut
Care is comprised of five skilled nursing facilities and one
assisted living facility in New York State, including Absolut Care
of Allegany in Allegany, Absolut Care of Aurora Park in East
Aurora, Absolut Care of Gasport in Gasport, Absolut Care of Orchard
