growing!Our Accounting Manager is transitioning to another position
on the team so we are focusing on securing the ideal manager to

contractor (Casework/Architectural Millwork Finishes) (Division 6 &
12) selling interior product solutions in the Educational,
Laboratory and Healthcare market segments and has an immediate
opening for a full time Accounting Manager. This position will be
based onsite in our Liverpool, NY office.The Accounting Manager for
NEIS will be a team player to contribute to the corporate group by
performing various accounting and management functions. Thorough
knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required and experience with
Foundation software is a plus. The primary responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: plan, organize, direct and monitor
financial activities for the accounting staff. Responsible for the
performance of accounting functions, including: accounts payable,
accounts receivable, payroll, financial reports, sales and payroll
tax and audit functions. Responsible for maintaining company values
and continuously improving operations to increase profit margins.
This position works closely with peers and company leaders to
ensure goals and objectives are accomplished in support of the
family of companies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage A/P: oversee credit process, ensure discounts and
payments.
- Manage A/R: oversee all invoicing and receivable processes;
ensure corrective action on delinquents, and ensure bank deposits
are made daily
- Manage Administrative Assistant
- Manage P/R: oversee payroll check printing and report
generation including commissions and bonus checks
- Participate in cash management - monitor cash and loan
balances
- Order new credit cards, manage individual credit limits, and
monitor credit card activity and make fraud claims
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled in accordance with the close
schedule and review and approve all reconciliations completed
- Develop key metrics for each operational function; present
regular updates of operational measures to management team
- Prepare periodic financial reports for the management team
- Coordinate and complete insurance renewals i.e. auto,
commercial, general liability, workers compensation, inland marine,
umbrella, etc.
- Responsible for W-2 and other annual form filings
- Provides support to ownership/leadership to establish goals and
budgets
- Prepare for and facilitate accounting participation with
external audit activities
- Complete OCIP/CCIP Insurance applications
- Other office process management as assigned by
supervisorQualifications:
- Bachelor degree or higher, in business or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting at comparable
organization
- Excellent understanding and proven track record with standard
accounting practices
- Evidence of strong leadership and management skills
- Adhere to strong values and ethical behavior
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organizational
and time management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to identify, analyze, and suggest solutions for
problems and customer concerns
- Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and
regulations
- Professionalism to effectively interface with all levels of
internal and external customers
- Excellent computer skills including Foundation software,
Microsoft Excel, Google Docs and virtual conferencingThis is a

of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $80,000 to $92,000 annually. The
actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills,
and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and
