St. Josephs Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy, inpatient cardiology team. This exciting opportunity offers exposure to a highly specialized patient population and involves direct medical management of hospitalized patients. As a part of our team, you will have access to experienced cardiology physicians for support and collaboration. This position is full-time with flexible scheduling, including evening, night, and weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities: Full-time position in inpatient cardiology Weekend, holiday, and some evening hours required Direct medical management of hospitalized cardiology patients Full access to consult with cardiology physicians for support No clinic duties; inpatient-only responsibilities Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care to patients Qualifications: Licensure: New York State licensure as a Physician Assistant Certifications: DEA certification, Board Certification, ACLS/BLS certifications required Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Cardiology or Acute Care setting Skills: Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team Compensation Package: Competitive Salary: Salary range of $124,532- $146,918, plus RVU incentives Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurances Paid Time Off: Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and sick leave Malpractice Coverage: Paid malpractice, including post-employment tail coverage CME Benefits: CME time & expense allowance Retirement: Retirement savings program with employer matching Additional Perks: Flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance At St. Josephs Health , we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where our healthcare professionals can thrive.
